LUNA, or as it is better known, the MOON, is our closest neighbor in space.
During one lunar month, the moon goes through all it's phases.

The Moon's gravity tugs at the Earth, causing ocean water to slosh back and forth in
predictable waves called tides. We can visibly observe some of that energy dissipates
at the beach, with waves rolling across coastal shallows and shoals. Most of the energy
dissipates due to friction between the water and the shallow floor beneath it.

The phases of the Moon affect Nature here on Earth.
The different phases have different properties.
This very real effect lends assisting or obstructing energies to a human being.
With an awareness of this effect, you can choose to coordinate your plans in a similar
manner to the way you might check the weather for an upcoming outdoor event.

Check it out, make a few notes of when things happen
and how well, or not so well, that they actually go.
Compare the feeling, plan, or event with what phase the moon was in on that day.
Just as an experiment, hmmm?

Moon Phases
Life takes on added dimension when you match your activities to the waxing and waning
of the Moon. Observing the sequence of her phases, you become completely certain of
the wisdom of constant change.

New Moon
The new moon is a time of beginnings. It is a period of controlled energies and growth.
Intuition can be particularly powerful at this time. It is a time of personal growth and
healing.
Waxing Moon
This is a good constructive energy.  This is a good time for planning and/or following
through with an existing plan or idea. This is an energy good for increase and tangible
growth. If something is already in progress, action at this time will greatly assist it.
Full Moon
The Full Moon is a time for making things happen.  If you want that extra oomph to
propel things forward, now’s the time. The Full Moon can be felt for about a week - 3
days prior, the night of the Full moon, and the 3 days following.  At this time, our
subconscious spheres of influence are at their most active and receptive as well.
Waning Moon
This is a good destructive energy.  This is energy that is influencial with the ending of
things, such as bad habits, ways of life, or negative emotions. It is also a time for ridding
and rejecting things in our lives we no longer wish to have around us.
Dark of the Moon
The Dark of the Moon occurs over the 3 days before the New Moon. At this time, the
moon cannot be seen at all. At this time, rest.  This allows you to give yourself a break.
Meditations, listening more and talking less, just being with someone… may be best at
this time, but not for specific purpose.  Just be.

The particular phase of the Moon is not the only factor
that influences the energies of the Moon.  The particular
Moon is also important. Lunar cycles are 28 days long.
