Can I take the Bach Flower Essences with my herbs / medication?
Yes. There are no contraindications with taking them with other forms of treatment. Since they work on a more subtle level, they do not interfere with other forms of treatment.
Do I have to avoid anything before or after taking the essences? No. You may take them with water, juice or food. Unlike other homeopathic preparations, their effectiveness will not be affected by other substances.
How long should I take them? How often or for how long you take Bach Flower Essences® depends on you. If your mood is just fleeting or you're in a bit of a crisis you may only need one dose, but if you've been feeling the same for some time, there is no set limit as to how long you can take you chosen Essence®.
Can someone with an alcohol sensitivity take the Essences? For those who are sensitive to alcohol, the Essences may be applied to pulse points on the wrists and temples.
Can I overdose; what happens if a child drinks the bottle? One cannot overdose on the remedies. If a child took the remedy bottle and did not need any of the essences, there would be no effect. If the child needed the essence in the remedy bottle, one could expect some restoration of balance.
