Bergamot
• Refreshing, uplifting oil, ideal for helping alleviate, anxiety and stress.
• Used to treat cystitis & thrush, cold sores, psoriasis & oily skin
Black Pepper
• A stimulating oil that helps strengthen the nerves & mind
• Warms the muscles.
• Ideal to use with arthritis, muscle pains & sprains.
Cedarwood
• Known for its energising, stimulating and uplifting properties
• Good for skin and scalp conditions
Chamomile
• Sedative oil ideal for helping ease pain
• Ideal to use for using externally and topically for aches & pains including: arthritis,
toothache, teething, neuralgia, headache, migraine, stomach pains & upsets, i
including colic.
• Child friendly
• Its soothing qualities help with anxiety, sleep problems & anger
Clary Sage
• A sedative oil that is ideal for those who find it difficult to switch off
• Also excellent for treating PMT & menstrual cramps, muscle pain, labour pain & night
sweats.
• To be avoided if you have epilepsy
Cypress
• Cypress is known for its calming, relaxing and soothing properties
• Clearing, astringent & antiseptic
• Good for oily skin
Eucalyptus
• An oil to revive the spirits well as ease cough & cold symptoms.
• Eases muscular pain & arthritis.
• Bosts immunity.
• Ease headaches.
• Clear sinusitis.
• Helps relieve insect bites as well as repel insects.
• To be avoided if you have epilepsy
Frankincense
• Helps with anxiety, helps with feelings of inner peace & acceptance.
• A sedative oil ideal for addressing sleep problems
• Used a great deal with the terminally ill.
• Also very useful in treating coughs & asthma.
• Good addition to face creams for dry or mature skin.
Geranium
• An uplifting oil to ease mood swings, post natal depression & PMT.
• Used a lot in beauty care as it is good for most skin types.
• It is also an excellent mosquito repellent.
• Avoid if you are on HRT because of ovarian, uterine or breast cancer.
Grapefruit
• A refreshing & reviving oil with euphoric qualities.
• Great to use for oily or congested skin.
• Can be used to address water retention, oedemas & cellulite.
• Excellent for use with depression & exhaustion.
Jasmine
• Jasmine Absolute is known as the king of oils, this exotic, floral oil is often used to
uplift the spirits & treat depression.
• It can help increase confidence & optimism, as well as ease anxiety, anger & apathy.
Juniperberry
• This oil is known for its detoxification properties
• Used to treat: arthritis, hangovers, water retention, cellulite, & clearing emotional
"baggage" that stops you from moving on in life.
Lavender
• It can be used neat to ease burns, scalds, sunburn, arthritis & any "hot" conditions
because of its cooling effects.
• It can help reduce stress, anxiety & depression.
• It can help alleviate eczema, acne, insect bites, stings, head lice, bruises, headaches,
vertigo, migraine, fainting, aches, pains, sprains………
• A must for your first aid box & travels.
• Avoid if you have Low Blood Pressure
Lemon
• Ideal for treating cold sores, verrucaes, warts, athlete's foot & spots.
• A very uplifting detox oil which is used to treat cellulite, gout, arthritis, colds, flu, i
infection & for helping reduce nightmares when mixed with a suitable sedative oil,
especially with kids.
Lemongrass
• An uplifting, refreshing oil, which can be used to treat excessive perspiration, athlete's
foot, muscle pain, poor circulation, headlice & can be used to improve muscle tone.
• Good insect repellant.
Mandarin
• A wonderfully uplifting oil which smells good enough to eat
• Used to treat stomach problems & depression.
• Children love it & an anxious child responds well to having it rubbed clockwise into
their tummy (in dilution of course).
• Also used to reduce stretch marks & scarring, reduce PMT, increase appetite,
especially after illness.
Patchouli
• An excellent tonic for the skin, can treat athlete's foot, acne, dandruff, weepy eczema
& impetigo.
• It is also an insect repellent, aphrodisiac, eases depression & lethargy.
Peppermint
• This is a very stimulating oil which can be used to ease headaches & migraines
• Clearing, aids memory & eases fatigue.
• It also warms muscles, easing pains, colds, coughs, flu etc..
• Peppermint can also help ease colic, tummy cramps & upsets as well as fainting.
• Avoid peppermint if you are epileptic
Rosemary
• Rosemary is known for its stimulating, refreshing and invigorating properties
• Rosemary is as useful as lavender in that it can treat dandruff, lice, varicose veins,
scabies; as well as muscle pains, arthritis, rheumatism, cellulite, poor circulation,
digestion problems, bronchitis, whooping cough, coughs, colds, flu, debility,
headaches, poor memory, neuralgia and more.
• Avoid Rosemary oil if you are epileptic OR have high blood pressure
Sweet Marjoram
• A sedative oil which can be used effectively with hyperactive (ADHD) children.
• Also excellent to help treat arthritis, muscle pain, stiffness, sprains & strains.
• Also useful with high blood pressure & deep trauma.
• Avoid if you have low blood pressure
Tea Tree
• Well known for its antiseptic, antiviral & antibacterial properties
• Tea tree is also good for combating fungal infections, catarrh, sinusitis, chest
infections, mouth ulcers, athlete's foot, spots, boils, insect bites, cystitis, thrush, &
convalescence even after a shock.
• It is used to treat ME. MRSA, debility, doom & gloom.
Ylang Ylang
• Floral, exotic oil
• Used widely to ease stress, depression, fear, stage fright, frustration anger, high
blood pressure, shock, panic attacks, palpitations.
• It is also useful for general skin care & is an aphrodisiac!
• Avoid if epileptic
