The death of a loved one, especially if they are young, or are a child, is not a
pleasant experience to endure. So the question is often asked, “Why did God
‘allow’ someone to experience a sudden or tragic death?”
When we ask that question, it is always from the viewpoint of someone who is left
behind or who feels cheated out of a relationship. This is a natural human
response.
The human body is a temporary home for the soul. The human soul has a much
longer game plan which we seldom see, so let us view this question from the
viewpoint of the soul, which is an extension of the Universal Soul, or ‘God.’
When a soul incarnates into a human life, it has a game plan or a purpose to fulfill
during that lifetime. In some cases, an early death can be a major part of that
purpose. In such cases, the purpose can be fulfilled in the early stages of life. In
other cases, an early death, especially of a young child, might be for the purpose
of prodding another person (soul) to deal with fears associated with death,
transition, and loss.
Some people are genetically predisposed to an early death. In such cases, the
soul incarnated into that body, fully knowing its shortcomings, and being ready to
accept a short life as part of its purpose. However, the Egos (human beings)
involved may not be aware of that situation in their lives until the very end. Their
spiritual growth is often most profound as they adjust to their impending death
and transition.
Death is how the soul sheds its physical life to continue on with its ultimate Cosmic
purpose. It leaves behind the historical events of each incarnation in the Akashic
Record, and takes with it the character and values it has acquired as a result of
the challenges it has experienced in the physical life. In some cases the character
and values acquired in a specific lifetime are not good, and will need to be
addressed in the next life. But death is the doorway of transition between
physically incarnated lifetimes.
When viewed from the perspective of the soul, death is easy to explain, but to
those left behind, there can be a lot of pain, anguish and suffering.
If you are one who is left behind because of the death of a loved one, the pain,
anguish and suffering is a challenge for you to make some strong spiritual growth.
It is good for everyone to evaluate their life and their purpose often. This helps to
assure that you are staying true to your purpose in life. If you are going through
the tragedy of the loss of a loved one, it is even more important to re-evaluate
your circumstance, because you are in the process of making a transition from an
old life to a new life. You may not feel as if there is any life ahead of you at the
moment, but as you open up to your new life, it will begin to reveal itself to you.
I hope this helps you to understand a little more about unexpected death and
transition.
