Metaphysics is the philosophy of understanding and explaining the ultimate nature of
existence, reality and experience. It is the study of the real nature of the universe. If
we take our thinking out of the box of traditional Judeo-Christian doctrine, we can find
the original metaphysical teachings of Yahshua (Jesus) and his Apostles in the Bible.
That is Bible Metaphysics.
Bible Metaphysics is difficult for a traditional Bible Believer to understand at first. So
you may have a lot of questions about some of the ideas and concepts presented. If
so, ask your questions and be very specific.
Many of our readers are becoming familiar with the evidence that the “Rapture,” or
the Second Coming of Yahshua the Messiah has already taken place. There are
some church congregations that are looking into and supporting this idea as well. If
the Second Coming has already occurred, some people are asking, what does this
mean for us as Bible Believers today?
In the first part of Yahshua‘s ministry, he spent a lot of time explaining the
metaphysical reality of the kingdom of Yahweh, otherwise known as the kingdom of
heaven. Yahshua told his Apostles to spread the news that the kingdom of heaven
would come before the end of their own generation. He even hinted that John might
still be alive when it happened. And just before the Second Coming happened John
the Revelator was shown a vision of all of the activities taking place in the spiritual
realm preparing for this humongous event. Then it happened, just before the
destruction of the temple in A.D. 70 by the Roman Army. Hundreds of eyewitnesses
are recorded as having seen the Second Coming. Some of us are the descendants
of those who were left behind at the Rapture of the 144,000 saints. Among those who
were in the resurrection were Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David!
Paul said in Acts 2:29-34 that David was dead and buried and had not ascended into
the heavens, although Yahshua had.
In Hebrews chapter 11 Paul said that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David
and a whole host of others had not received the promise, “that they without us should
not be made perfect.” Perfect means to be complete, or to have body and soul
united, which is the purpose of the resurrection. Yahshua said that those in the
resurrection would be able to sit down and have a conversation in the kingdom with
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Matthew 8:11).
What happened to those who were left behind?
They lived out the rest of their lives. When they went to church services the next
week there were probably a lot of people missing. There were a lot of ministers
missing. And there was probably a lot of infighting about who would take over. Paul
had warned about people in the church trying to change the teachings and pervert
the true messages being taught. Some were teaching that there was no eminent
Second Coming. When they were left behind they were basically now in charge of the
church and its teachings. So they probably began to cover up the fact that the
Second Coming had occurred. The ultimate end for most people left behind is that
they would die and then be reincarnated. Who knows, some of us may have been
there to see the Second Coming and then had to live out the rest of our lives
realizing that we had missed the boat.
What about people living today? What is our spiritual responsibility? What is our
ultimate reward?
Yahshua said that the kingdom of heaven is within. We carry the door to the kingdom
of heaven within us wherever we go, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. So
we can go into and out of the kingdom at will.
Yahshua said that the kingdom of heaven is not something that you can see with
your eye or enter into with your feet. Then he explained the body-mind connection.
In John 3:5-7 Yahshua stated to Nicodemus that “except a man be born of water and
of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Yahweh. That which is born of the
flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto
you, you must be born from above. [The word translated “again” really means
“above”].
Yahshua is explaining that you have a material body and you have a spirit or Spark
of Life within you. The material body is born in the material world in a material womb.
The spiritual body is born from above or is an extension of the Cosmic Spirit. Water
baptism (total emersion) is a symbol of activating the spirit within. The Holy Spirit
(Shekinah Kavah - Spiritual Womb) activates the spirit within, allowing it to develop its
individuality. This is what it means to be born again or born from above.
The Holy Spirit assists the spirit within to convert the mind to become more like
Yahshua. Because of the body-mind connection, the body also changes in response
to developments in the mind, and the physical vibratory rate of the body becomes
less dense. Philippians 2:5 says, “Let this mind be in you which was in the Messiah
Yahshua.” If the mind of Yahshua is not firmly entrenched in your own mind, then
your destiny is another round of reincarnation. If the vibratory rate of the body-mind
connection reaches a certain level, then the body will be capable of transiting with
the soul at “death,” and no more reincarnation will be necessary. That is what is
meant by “receiving eternal life!”
