Believe it or not, Yahweh is the only free moral agent in creation. Man is not a free moral agent!!! Man
has freedom of thought, a volition by which he proposes, determines, makes a choice, but man is not free
to carry out his own will. He cannot guarantee, absolutely, the fulfillment of any of his plans. “Go to now,
ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell,
and get gain. Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow … ye ought to say, if Yahweh will, we
shall live, and do this, or that.” (James 4: 13 – 15).
Every determination of man must be qualified with an “if.” But, Yahweh is an absolute free moral agent
whose plan is sure of fulfillment . Concerning man, it is written, “A man’s heart deviseth his way,but
Yahweh directeth his steps.” (Proverbs 16: 9). “There are many devices in a man’s heart, nevertheless
the council of Yahweh, that shall stand.” (Proverbs 19: 21). “The lot is cast into the lap”; (That means
there is a plan for man, a work for him to do) “but the whole disposing thereof is of Yahweh.” (Proverbs
16: 33).
Yahweh is, for this universe, the absolute T.O.P. (The Omnipotent Power), the sovereign ruler. He
created all the planets, moons, suns, out of what appeared to be nothing. But man never created
anything. Man makes things. He takes elements that already exists and molds them into his desire.
Yahweh allows man some latitude, so that he can say: “I created this, or I made that …” but man must
always harbor in his mind the knowledge that Yahweh originally made the elements out of which man
molded his ideas.
Not long ago, when I was feeling very low, I prayed that Yahweh would direct me to a truth that would pick
me up and encourage me. I opened the Bible at random and the 139th. Psalm sprang out at me. Here is
what I read: “O Yahweh, thou hast searched me, and known me.” So, I learned that Yahweh knew all
about me, even from the very beginning. “Thou knowest my down sittings and mine up-rising, thou
understandeth my thoughts from afar off.” So, Yahweh could, if he desired, know what I think from
moment to moment, even before I think the thoughts. “Thou compasseth my path and my lying down, and
art acquainted with all my ways,” and there I learned that Yahweh is like a circle, surrounding me with His
knowledge and His power. “For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, Yahweh thou knowest it
altogether,” So, Yahweh knows every word I will ever speak, and every thought I will ever have. What
more reason do we need to watch out for the language we use and the conduct we show to the world?
“Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me,” So, the circle Yahweh has around
me is a closed circle, and He will, if I will but let Him, direct my every step through life.
There is no such thing as escaping from or going beyond, or even being expelled from Yahweh’s
presence. “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into
heaven, thou art there. If I make my bed in sheol, (the grave), behold thou art there. If I take the wings of
the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right
hand shall hold me.”
If you ever listen to the radio, or even watch Sunday morning TV, you might stumble across the religious
programs. Sometimes, in order to know what is happening in the broadcasting world, I take in those
programs. Now and then, even though it has been some time, I have visited a church here and there to
listen to the sermon contents. Every now and then some minister will preach about eternal separation
from God. Again and again you hear it from this minister and that ... they tell "“sinners" that they could go
away into “eternal separation from God.” I DEPLORE SUCH IGNORANCE!!! These people deny the
sovereignty of Yahweh without realizing that they are doing it. To say such a thing limits Yahweh. For
there is no place where Yahweh is not. And, if there is such a place, where Yahweh cannot be found, then
Yahweh is not Yahweh at all.
I titled this article “The Mystery of Evil” for a reason. Because I will reveal to you here and now why there
is evil in the world: It is because of wholesale ignorance of the fact that there is a real God … and no one
can hide from His eyes! If we all realized that fact, that Yahweh sees every move we make and hears
every word or thought we think, everyone would behave and the world would be a paradise. But, that’s
not likely to happen. The reason? Because man is programmed to learn his lessons the hard way. And,
only when mankind has matured and learned his lessons can he adequately acknowledge Yahweh and
be welcomed into eternity. Until that time, we all must live and live again, and accumulate knowledge and
enlightenment so that we will be fit and qualified to walk with our Creator.
Part of the package of knowledge that we must learn is that “Yahshua the Messiah gave Himself a ransom
for all to be teltified in due time,” (1 Tim. 2: 6). Yahweh has said, “Every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to Yahweh,” (Romans 14: 11, Isa. 45: 23, Phil. 2: 10). ALL MEN WILL BE SAVED!
Yahweh will get us all because we all belong to Him. Even those poor sots who like to say: “It’s my body, I’ll
treat it anyway I please.”
The purpose of the system in which we all live is to bring about a more glorious New Age and a
restoration of all things to the original pattern Yahweh once delivered to man. That system has been
wasted by man, but not forever: “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former,” (Haggai
2: 9). The pattern of the original Church was good, but it was ruined by man’s greed. It is actually a good
thing Yahweh allowed man’s evil to take things over for He has promised, saying: “For he hath given you
the former rain moderately, and he will causes to come down for you, the former rain, and the latter rain
…” (Joel 2: 23).
The restoration that is coming in a few years restores every good thing Yahweh envisioned for man and
gives us much more than we ever had.
