At the Kabbalah and Medicine website, is a page called The Healing of Body and Soul. Part 16 speaks of the
Power of Prayer. This page begins, “Modern scientific research has verified what was long known to mankind:
prayer to God is potent; it possesses the power to heal, or expressed in words of faith, heartfelt prayer draws
down healing power from Above."
“…The sages teach that ‘a sick person’s prayer for himself is more potent than that of others for him.’ Who more
than the sick person himself can experience and identify with his suffering and trepidation? His own prayer
issues from the depths of his heart. With all his soul, he turns to God as his only hope for recovery.”
Prayer is a very important part of the healing process. In order to reach the higher nature of your soul that is
beyond your imbalances and relative concerns, it is necessary to quiet your mind and your body. It is in the
silence that your mind and body heals on all levels. When you pray, pray from your higher consciousness, and
not from the level of the problem, or the so-called ‘reality’. If your attention is on the problem, it amplifies the
problem. If your awareness is fixed in the 3-dimensional reality, which is a miniscule aspect of existence, then the
whole is sacrificed.
Put your full attention on the core of your inner being, the real individual, beyond space and time. The Universe
will match whatever you radiate, so pray from the Consciousness of health, wholeness, and thankfulness. The
same will be returned to you in full measure. Do not let anyone convince you that your ‘dis-ease’ is terminal or
debilitating.
Wholeness is the only reality, and prayer bridges all illusions of separation. If any distance exists between you
and God, then praying is really saying, “Please God, come down from heaven and help me out.” This is not the
reality of life, although for many people this is the function of their prayers.
Praying with the belief in separation amplifies pain and suffering. If you vibrate in harmony with separation from
God, the Universe delivers the same back to you. Separation creates fear, which gives rise to hostility between
individuals and between nations. Love, on the other hand, binds you back to your Source, and Oneness with
God! As you re-connect with God, through prayer and meditation, the individualized aspect within blossoms, and
the experience of safety, security and freedom begin to manifest. God is both universal and individual, since
God is All, not part, or some.
With this understanding, your prayers will become more effective than you can imagine. When praying, direct
your faith in health and wholeness, not in your ‘disease.’ Your faith will direct you toward the solution of your
health challenge, and not back to the disease. It is your faith that guides you into the unknown toward the
healing solution you so fervently desire. Faith is your spiritual health insurance, the best policy you can own.
After touching the hem of Yahshua’s garment a woman was immediately healed. When Yahshua saw what had
happened he said, “Thy faith has made thee whole.” Faith is of paramount importance since it is an essential
part in creating wholeness. When healing takes place it is only a symptom of the inner Divinity or “reality” that
has already changed and attuned itself to the healing frequency. And there is a vibratory healing frequency in
life. Health springs forth and is the result of seeing and experiencing yourself in the light of wholeness and
Oneness!
Answered prayer does not make you spiritual. You are already One with the wholeness and unity of God. As a
spiritual being you use faith and prayer to rediscover your own inner divinity. As you connect to your inner
divinity, you simultaneously reconnect to the Universal Divinity that is God, your infinite source of love, power
and healing. Yahshua healed people from disease from the level of wholeness. He recognized the wholeness
and divinity of being without acknowledging the illness or disease. People who tell you to face reality are, in fact,
telling you to put your attention on the disease, which is spiritually debilitating. If Yahshua had worked from that
level he would have had nothing to offer the sick.
Yahshua, was, and still is, One with the ultimate Source of healing energy, God. And God, knowing the reality of
wholeness, permeated the energy field of the sick. The people, therefore, were healed because their illness,
vibrating at a much lower frequency, could not possibly withstand the power of the higher healing vibration.
When you pray for healing, pray from the deepest reaches of your heart and your deepest feelings. Pray,
knowing that you are One with the Healing Power of the Universe, which will disintegrate the lower vibrational
levels of illness and disease. Pray, knowing that you are already healed.
